Community Next Conference in February

Joel Spolsky has a great article on pricing:

It focuses on software and unit-based sales. The lesson of price signaling, to which you allude, still applies.
That said, I think you want to do everything you can to encourage the smalltime web people to attend. Similarly, I like how the student price is way cheap.
